Job summary

Far East Industrial Supply & Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to safely lift, transfer, and position nitrogen tanks, piping, and heavy equipment on construction sites in Metro Manila.

You will perform pre-operation inspections, follow lifting plans, coordinate with the rigger and foreman, maintain exclusion zones, and stop work if conditions become unsafe. Certification is required for the crane type used.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Crane Operator in construction, industrial, mechanical, or heavy equipment projects.
• Valid crane operator certification/license for the crane type.
• Experience operating the specific crane type.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned crane for lifting, transferring, positioning, and lowering of heavy materials.
• Perform pre-operation inspection of the crane, including controls, brakes, wire ropes, hooks, safety devices, outriggers, and other critical components.
• Follow lifting plans, load charts, operating limits, and site lifting procedures.
• Coordinate closely with the Rigger/Signalman, Foreman, Site Supervisor, and other personnel during lifting activities.
• Follow standard hand signals and radio communication from the designated signalman.
• Operate the crane smoothly and avoid sudden movements, shock loading, overloading, and unsafe lifting practices.
• Ensure that personnel remain outside the designated lifting/exclusion zone and never allow loads to pass over people.
• Maintain safe clearance from structures, power lines, equipment, piping, tanks, and other site obstructions.
• Stop lifting operations immediately when unsafe conditions, poor visibility, excessive wind, equipment malfunction, or unclear signals are encountered.
