Qualifications

• 1–3 years of crane inspection experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of crane operation, maintenance and inspection for mobile, overhead and tower cranes.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ASME B30, NAVFAC P-307 and related guidelines.
• Must read, write, and understand English for contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cranes and hoisting equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Perform load testing and verify performance against standards.
• Document inspections and maintain records; submit reports to stakeholders.
• Advise maintenance teams on corrective actions for unsafe equipment.
• Inspect new cranes on delivery or after repairs to ensure readiness.
