Job summary

You will encode basic transaction data into ledgers or accounting software, assist in preparing schedules and BIR forms, and monitor deadlines for regulatory submissions. The role involves handling confidential information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act and coordinating with external agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting accounting staff and liaising with government agencies.
• Ability to encode basic transaction data into ledgers or accounting software.
• Familiarity with data privacy and confidential information handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and compliance support
• Encode basic transaction data into ledgers, spreadsheets, or accounting software (e.g., CRB, CDB, Sales Book, Journal Book)
• Assist in the preparation of schedules and working papers (e.g., VAT schedules, withholding tax schedules, payroll summaries)
• Prepare initial drafts of BIR forms, mandatory reports, and government submissions for CPA review
• Monitor statutory deadlines for pertinent client regulatory agencies, such as BIR, SEC, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, LGU
• Collaborate with office admin staff to coordinate with external agencies for document submissions, pick-up of clearances, and follow-up of applications
• Ensure secure handling of confidential financial and personal information in accordance with Data Privacy Act
• Liaise with government agencies, such as BIR, SEC, LGU, SSS, PHILHEALTH, PAGIBIG, FDA, Customs, etc.
• Perform other office administrative tasks as officially assigned by the CPA Practitioner
