Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA license is preferred/required depending on the position.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Familiarity with BIR and other government compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle confidential financial information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and monitor accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Record and verify daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, collections, and payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and accounting reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Monitor cash flow, company expenses, receivables, and payables.
• Ensure proper documentation and recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and review tax returns, reports, and other government-mandated submissions.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other applicable government requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Review accounting entries and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct account analysis and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide necessary schedules and supporting documents.
• Maintain organized and confidential financial records and documents.
• Monitor accounting policies and procedures and recommend improvements when necessary.
• Provide management with accurate financial information and reports for decision-making.
• Coordinate with other departments, suppliers, clients, auditors, and government agencies regarding accounting-related concerns.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as may be assigned by management.
