Job summary

SM Store in the Philippines is seeking a Counter Operations Supervisor to promote seamless customer service and efficient store workflows. You will oversee counter personnel, ensure workspace standards, and coordinate daily operations to deliver a smooth checkout experience.

You will determine staffing needs, open counters as needed, schedule POS machines per shift, and plan for peak periods such as holidays.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any business-related course
• Preferably supervisor/5 years & up experienced employee specialized in Customer Service or equivalent.
• With at least 3 years of experience in bank operations or counter-cashier functions

Responsibilities

• Manage counter personnel
• Hold Counter Supervisors accountable to workspace management
• Determine number of counters to be opened & the number of POS machines to be opened per shift
• Plan and prepare for peak season requirements (i.e. shopping bags, staff, etc.)
• Monitor and analyze trends (individual cashier transactions profile, processing speed, transactions per POS) to drive the expected performance through action items
