Job summary

Zenith Foods Corporation in Canlubang, Laguna, is seeking a Cost Accounting Officer to manage cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting activities across the supply chain. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accountancy or Finance.
• At least 3 years in product cost accounting or cost management.
• At least 3 years in production or inventory planning in a food manufacturing setting.
• CPA or CIA license preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Review cost accounting and balance sheet variance analyses.
• Maintain standard costing and transfer pricing tables.
• Gather and validate manpower and ops cost data.
• Participate in cross-functional supply chain projects and assess financial impact.
• Prepare budget data and track historical data for reports.
• Monitor internal capital expenditure orders and conduct inventory counts.

Job Description:

The Cost Accounting Officeris responsible for reviewing financial and balance sheet accounts, conducting variance analysis, standard costing, transfer pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Reviews significant variance on major profit & loss and balance sheet accounts.


• Updates system set-up of standard cost and transfer price table.


• Gathers and maintains actual data on manpower costs and operations provision.


• Participatesin cross-functional projects within the supply chain and provides insights on financial impact.


• Gathers, validates, and processes data using financial analysis tools.


• Gathers, organizes, and maintains historical data related to budget preparation and identifies one-time off and recurring transactions.


• Gathers and maintains current and historical financial data needed in the preparation of financial reports.


• Track the internal order of the capital expenditure and conduct an inventory count.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A graduate of Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent courses.


• With at least three(3) years of work experience in product cost accounting or cost management.


• With at least three (3) years of work experience in production or inventory planning operations in a food manufacturing industry.


• Preferably, a licensed Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor


• Possess good communication skills, both oral and written, as well as leadership skills.


• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, attentive to details, and able to think outside the box


• Must be willing to work on a hybrid setup inCanlubang, Laguna.
