Job summary

Baek Geum Philippines Corp. is seeking a cost analyst to support manufacturing finance and inventory costing. You will analyze direct costs, maintain standard costs, and perform variance analysis to guide management decisions.

The role requires strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics). You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse and Finance to optimize cost efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required.
2–5 years cost analysis, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, inventory mgmt, budgeting, costing methods.
Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsibilities

Analyze direct materials, direct labor, and overhead costs.
Prepare and maintain product cost sheets and standard costing records.
Conduct monthly cost variance analysis (actual vs. standard/budget).
Generate cost reports and provide recommendations to management.
Monitor production expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Calculate and update standard costs for finished goods and WIP inventory.
Review inventory valuation and support cycle count and physical inventories.
Analyze material usage, scrap, rework, and production efficiency.
Monitor inventory movements and investigate cost discrepancies.
Assist in preparing annual manufacturing budgets and cost forecasts.
Monitor departmental spending against budgets and support cost-control initiatives.
Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance.
