Job summary
Croda is seeking an Applications Scientist to lead Product Validation & Claims Substantiation, providing technical services, troubleshooting, and data-driven solutions for customer formulations. This site-based role in Hinoba-an, Philippines, calls for strong communication, teamwork, and hands-on lab work to support global launches.
You will design studies to substantiate claims, collaborate with global R&D and regional teams, and mentor others in testing methodologies to strengthen Croda’s hair
Qualifications
- PG in Cosmetic engineering or related field.
- Expertise in claims substantiation with customer-facing experience.
- Experience with hair care & skin care ingredients for various properties.
- Strong oral and written communication to represent Croda.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute claims studies for hair and skin applications (Hair Shine, Tensile, Frizz Control, Hydration).
- Apply scientific methods to validate product claims and analyze results.
- Respond to customer work requests with robust data generation and substantiation.
- Collaborate with customers to assess needs and co-develop formulations.
- Provide training and technical support to sales, marketing, and applications teams.
- Coordinate with global R&D to align testing and share data for new launches.
- Plan and manage multiple validation projects with timely delivery.
