Job summary

Dermorepubliq Corporation is seeking a Junior R&D Analyst to support the cosmetics R&D team. You will perform initial tests on new products, prepare lab batches, and assist in quality control during scale-up.

You will collaborate with formulators and engineers to ensure product specs are met and documentation is accurate, with a focus on learning and growth within an innovative lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory or R&D setting.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and cosmetic materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor by performing initial tests on new cosmetic products, focusing on appearance, pH, and viscosity.
• Provide accurate test results to help establish and document product specifications.
• Create laboratory batches of new formulations and reformulations under supervision.
• Prepare product prototypes for internal review and testing.
• Support quality control checks on products being scaled up for production.
• Ensure scaled-up products meet lab specifications.
• Document all test results, formulations, and procedures; maintain organized lab records.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.
