Job summary

KINTARA MANUF VENTURES INC in the Philippines seeks a disciplined R&D Chemist to develop, improve, and optimize cosmetic formulations. You will conduct formulation trials, test samples, and prepare materials for evaluation.

You will evaluate raw materials, update costings, maintain rigorous documentation, and collaborate with Production, QA, Compliance, and Purchasing to drive development from concept to commercialization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related science/technical field.
Experience in cosmetic formulation and product development.
Experience in developing, testing, and improving cosmetic products.
Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials and formulation processes.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, improve, and optimize formulations for products.
Conduct formulation trials, testing, and sample preparation.
Prepare and revise product samples based on test results.
Evaluate raw materials for development and reformulation.
Prepare and update product costing based on supplier pricing.
Maintain R&D documentation and product specifications.
Coordinate with Production, QA, Compliance, and Purchasing on development activities.
Assist in product validation, stability testing, scale-up, and commercialization.
Identify formulation issues and recommend improvements.
