Job summary

Your Remote Assistant is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage corporate and management level accounting, working with the Accounting Manager to ensure timely closes and accurate records across multiple entities.

The role covers payroll processing, financial reporting, treasury activities, and the development of better finance policies and procedures to support efficient operations and compliant controls.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of accounting experience.
• BA/BS in accounting or AA degree preferred.
• Strong organizational and detail orientation for fast-paced work.

Responsibilities

• Support Accounting Manager on day-to-day corporate accounting and month-end closes.
• Process payroll bi-weekly/bi-monthly and reconcile payroll to GL entries.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage AP/AR under supervision and improve automation.
• Update financial policies and procedures to support goals.
