Job summary

A Brown Company Inc. - Recruitment seeks a governance and compliance professional to ensure timely submission of SEC reports, GIS, disclosures, and other regulatory requirements.

You will support Board activities and governance programs while coordinating investor relations materials. You will help prepare annual and sustainability reports, monitor regulatory changes, and maintain governance databases, collaborating with Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders to ensure robust disclosure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of SEC regulations, corporate governance principles, and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate the timely submission of SEC reports, GIS, disclosures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support corporate governance initiatives, Board and Committee activities, and compliance programs.
• Assist in the preparation of annual reports, sustainability reports, and corporate disclosures.
• Coordinate investor relations activities, including the preparation of presentations, reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor and assess changes in SEC regulations, corporate governance standards, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain corporate records, governance documents, and compliance databases.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and external stakeholders on reporting and compliance matters.
• Prepare management reports, governance updates, and compliance-related documentation.

Job description

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of SEC regulations, corporate governance principles, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in a publicly listed company, real estate developer, audit firm, or regulated industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
