POSITION: SITE SAFETY OFFICER II
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources, Administrative and Accounting Team
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To enforce mandatory safety, environmental and security policies and regulations based on company policy throughout all daily operations of the company's scope of work in assigned projects. To coordinate safety, human resources and relevant operational concerns to the Project Manager onsite, Officer in Charge, and Human Resources Officer of the company to ensure sound and proper practice of all safety, environmental and security policies. To serve as a representative of Nature's Blend Water Systems, where necessary and relevant, in all communications and meetings regarding safety, security and operational procedures with authorized staff or personnel of designated client's project representative.
To conduct daily and regular roving, monitoring, reporting activities (as required by the Employer and Project owner) and produce complete documentation of manpower loading, attendance keeping, safety man hours, risk and hazards assessment (low to high-risk activities and areas) and enforcement in all assigned posts or areas throughout the site. To ensure that there is a proper inventory of all onsite safety and medical equipment and supplies, including ensuring supply levels are above reorder point, and to inform the Purchasing Team once replenishment is necessary right away. To regularly report immediate emergencies or near-misses to the Head Office for urgent response measures and assessments to be taken and to document such incidents accordingly. During an emergency, to immediately inform the relevant medical authorities or partner medical institutions and the Head Office for monitoring and resolution of matter. To regularly conduct orientations on existing and new mandatory safety and precautionary measures to all officers and workers during toolbox meetings, and for all new workers and site visitors. To practice confidentiality and discretion throughout all human resource-related concerns, including medical concerns, and immediately relay such information to the HRDAA Department. To follow all established policies, regulations and procedures being enforced by both Nature's Blend Water Systems USA and the client or project owner. To build good working relationships amongst all peers, authorized client representatives, and project managers onsite to inculcate loyalty and trust, and encourage continued preference for the company's various products and services. To perform other required tasks, if necessary.
