Job summary

Benzinga is seeking an experienced editor/writer to produce high-quality financial content across news, opinion and features. You will edit and polish articles from staff writers and freelancers for grammar, style, readability, and accuracy.

You'll work with reporters and editors to refine angles, fact-check sources, and optimize headlines for SEO while meeting tight deadlines and balancing multiple assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Economics, English, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in financial journalism, business reporting, or a similar editorial role.
• Strong command of grammar, syntax, and journalistic writing standards.
• Ability to write and edit in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with AP Style and SEO best practices.
• Proven ability to craft both breaking news and long-form features.
