Job summary

UPS Philippines is seeking a Buildings and Systems Engineering, Specialist to support conveyor systems and facility management at Clark Civil Aviation Complex, Pampanga. You will assist with project management, budgeting, and contractor oversight.

The role involves maintenance of conveyor equipment, safety/environmental program compliance, and coordination with Operations Management. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience in conveyor systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering or construction management.
• Excellent communication skills; proficient in English.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• 1 year minimum, 3 years preferred in conveyor system installations or maintenance management.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Capable of lifting up to 32 kg unassisted.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics; PLC knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with IBM Maximo or Coupa is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project management tasks related to conveyor equipment installation and facility construction; supervise contractors.
• Manage budget to ensure project scope stays within approved funds.
• Prepare estimates and drawings for facility and equipment layouts.
• Prepare bid documents and contracts for construction, procurement, and installation.
• Maintain conveyor equipment and buildings; provide daily technical support.
• Investigate root causes of conveyor performance issues and troubleshoot.
• Oversee safety and environmental program compliance.
• Oversee housekeeping contracts and bid processes.
• Supervise mechanics/contractors during implementation.
