Job summary

J&T Cargo is seeking a skilled Conveyor Maintenance Technician to support our warehouse and distribution center operations in the Philippines. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of conveyor systems to ensure continuous and efficient workflow.

You will conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, and assist with installation and testing of conveyors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical/Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related course.
• 1–3 years experience in mechanical maintenance or equipment repair.
• Experience with conveyor systems is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of motors, bearings, rollers, belts, pulleys, chains, and gearboxes.
• Basic electrical/sensor knowledge is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, courier, or distribution center operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of conveyor systems.
• Troubleshoot belt, roller, motor, bearing, pulley, chain, and gearbox issues.
• Perform belt alignment, tracking, and tension adjustments.
• Respond to conveyor breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
• Inspect equipment and replace damaged or worn components.
• Assist with conveyor installation, modification, and testing.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of sensors, switches, and electrical components.
• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues.
• Follow safety procedures and coordinate with Operations.
