Job summary

General Milling Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer to manage the full software development lifecycle by designing, developing, and maintaining well-structured, efficient, and testable code that meets business and technical requirements.

The role focuses on building server-side web applications using Java, REST and SOAP APIs, and scalable data services. You will collaborate with the team to ensure reliability, performance, and clean documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software engineering or application development.
• Experience developing server-side web applications using Java.
• Experience developing Java web services and APIs, such as REST and SOAP.
• Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and development.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks, software architecture, and design patterns.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
