Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Review, validate, and process contracting, licensing, and onboarding documentation.
  • Track, collect, and follow up on outstanding requirements for timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate records and update systems to support advisor lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve documentation, licensing, and compliance inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and service standards while meeting productivity and quality expectations.

Job description

We're looking for aContracting Administratorto join our IO team at MGS. In this role, you will support the end-to-end contracting, licensing, and onboarding process for advisors and agents by reviewing documentation, coordinating requirements, and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. You will play a critical role in helping advisors become ready to conduct business efficiently while supporting Manulife's mission of making decisions easier and lives better. This opportunity will allow you to build expertise in insurance operations, licensing administration, and stakeholder management while growing your career within a global financial services organization.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Review, validate, and process advisor and agent contracting, licensing, and onboarding documentation.
  • Track, collect, and follow up on outstanding requirements to ensure timely completion of contracting and licensing requests.
  • Maintain accurate records and update systems to support advisor lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve documentation, licensing, and compliance-related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and service standards while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of professional work experience; internal applicants must have a minimum of 1 year in their current role.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and business systems for data entry, document review, and case management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Health Sciences, or any related discipline.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, documentation requirements, and deadlines accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in insurance operations, advisor/agent contracting, licensing, onboarding, or credentialing.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry regulations, compliance requirements, and advisor lifecycle processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams.
