Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an experienced accountant for our Singapore office located at Raffles Place. The role covers the full cycle of accounting, including record-keeping, financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will manage general ledger tasks, GST returns, and assist with audits while collaborating across departments and with external partners. Prior experience with Xero and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with XERO accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Reconcile accounts, ledgers, and statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and GST filings.
• Support internal and external audits, preparing relevant audit schedules.
• Ensure that all financial activities and reporting adhere to ethical standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments and liaise with banks, auditors and vendors.
• Participate in ad hoc assignments as required by management.
