Job summary

Intrepid Asia is seeking a motivated Content Strategist Intern to join our growing content team in a fast-paced environment. You will help develop engaging scripts, captions, and short-form video ideas for ecommerce campaigns across SEA markets.

You will collaborate with video editors and strategists, learn brand voice, and gain hands-on experience in trend research and content planning. This internship offers exposure to leading international brands and real-world growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
• Must be enrolled in a university program that requires a mandatory internship/OJT/practicum.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interest in social media, short-form video content, and digital trends (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Creative, organized, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work collaboratively with a team and follow creative direction.
• Can manage tasks responsibly and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing clear and engaging scripts and simple storyboards for short-form video content, including product showcases and campaign materials.
• Support the Video Content Lead and Content Strategists in brainstorming and developing creative ideas aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
• Help craft engaging, on-brand captions for social media and ecommerce content.
• Conduct basic trend research and competitor checks to identify content ideas and creative opportunities.
• Work closely with video editors, creators, and strategists to ensure content messaging stays consistent and aligned with the campaign direction.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and share ideas confidently while learning how creative concepts are developed.
• Assist in organizing content plans, references, and materials needed for shoots and campaign preparation.
