About the role

We are seeking an experienced Content Moderator Team Lead to join our team at iOPEX Technologies Philippines Inc. in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of content moderators who support a major US news platform. This is a full-time role with opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and lead a team of content moderators, providing guidance, coaching and support to ensure high-quality performance
• Monitor team productivity and quality metrics, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex content moderation issues and escalate concerns as needed
• Provide regular performance feedback to team members and facilitate their professional development
• Implement and maintain efficient workflows, processes and best practices for the content moderation team
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of content moderation policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a content moderation or customer service team lead role
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team, with strong leadership and coaching skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• In-depth understanding of content moderation best practices, policies and procedures
• Proficiency in using content moderation tools and platforms
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking skills
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
