Job summary

Northern Trust Manila office is seeking a diligent fund accounting professional to support monthly closing cycles and financial reporting for client funds.

You will review closing summaries, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with clients, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Strong communication and industry knowledge are essential to succeed in this role.

Major Duties

• Review of monthly fund and business entity closing summaries.
• Report and analyze financial data to be disseminated to our clients and their investors.
• Close monthly books and records of the funds to general final performance figures.
• Interact with clients and other Hedge Fund Services teams to obtain understanding of funds’s activities.
• Prepare financial statements for funds.
• Work directly with external auditors to ensure accuracy of each fund’s annual financial statements.
• Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
• May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management.
• Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees.
• More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas.
• Delivers a work product that requires less revision.

Experience

• A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is preferred
