Job summary

D.M. Consunji, Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee safety programs at project sites in the Philippines. You will ensure workplace safety, conduct inspections, identify hazards, and promote safe work practices among all personnel.

The role requires coordinating with EHS teams, investigating incidents, and reporting on safety performance, with a focus on compliance with standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Preferably with 13 years experience as Safety Officer in construction.
• Knowledgeable in safety policies, hazard/risk analysis, and safety implementation.
• With COSH Certificate.
• PCO Certification is an advantage.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to be assigned in Pandacan/ Albay/ Zambales/ or Pasay (MOA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and identify safety hazards.
• Monitor compliance with occupational safety standards.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct safety orientations and trainings.
• Prepare safety reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with project management and EHS team.
• Monitor implementation of risk control measures.
