Job description

We are looking for an experienced construction manager who will become part of our site-based team in the Philippines. Our site office is located in Tarlac City and will oversee the construction of a major industrial plant of a global beverage brand. The expected project duration is around 12-14 months with a chance for extension (depending on the project). Housing allowance may also be provided.

What you do as construction manager

The construction manager will be reporting to the construction director of the project. Major tasks and responsibilities are the following:

• leads all onsite construction management and supervision activities under Haskoning scope
• manages schedule execution, site coordination, and contractor performance
• interfaces daily with client
• ensures quality, safety, and progress targets
• oversees supervisors, QAQC, safety, and document control
• leads mitigation of delays and resolution of site issues as it arises

Where you will work

At Haskoning, you will join an independent, employee-owned international consultancy that combines engineering, design, and consultancy services with software and technology. Your work will be located at the site office in the Philippines, in Tarlac City. The project involves the construction of an industrial plant for a major beverage client. The client is a global iconic beverage brand with more than 33,000 people from over 70 nationalities across all offices worldwide.

What you bring

As a Construction Manager, you will work closely with the construction director to manage the whole Tarlac site office. For this position, you need to have the following competencies/skills:

• bachelor's degree graduate of Engineering (or higher)
• minimum 15–20 years in large-scale industrial construction
• proven experience as construction manager on >$100M projects
• technical knowledge in food and beverage (F&B) project is an advantage (especially with interfacing with Process Equipment Suppliers)
• strong leadership of multi‑discipline teams
• deep knowledge of contracts (FIDIC preferred), planning, and risk management
• experience in Southeast Asia preferred
• English communication skills
