Job summary

Kajima Philippines Inc. is seeking a CAD Operator to support design and construction teams on diverse projects in the Philippines. The role focuses on encoding drawings across stages from concept to as-built, with emphasis on accuracy and timely submittals.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or degree with hands-on CAD training, strong AutoCAD/SketchUp skills, and at least 1 year of CAD operator experience in a construction setting. Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Trade School graduate with hands-on CAD courses.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, and AutoCAD; SketchUp & 3D.
• Familiarity and proficiency in CAD production and ability to communicate with project technical staff.
• At least 1-year experience as CAD Operator in office/construction site.

Responsibilities

• Encode preliminary design drawings and concept plans.
• Encode construction drawings, shop drawings, construction details and check dimensions.
• Encode as-built drawings as construction progresses; print required detailed shop drawings.
• Manage CAD file drawings in the computer and ensure accuracy of submittals.
• Ensure compliance with KTMS.PH (IMS) procedures and work instructions.
• Complete KTMS.PH (IMS) documents within deadlines (forms, checklists, records).
• Perform any task directed by supervisor or top management.
