Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking a Compliance Systems Support Officer to lead the administration, support, and continuous improvement of compliance systems. You will ensure system stability, manage deployments, and translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications.

The role requires a minimum of five years banking experience in regulatory compliance, AML, or sustainability, with strong IT project management and collaboration across risk, audit, and IT teams. Onsite Makati.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Business Management or any related IT course.
• Minimum five years banking experience, preferably in Regulatory Compliance, AML, and/or Sustainability.
• Fast learner with good interpersonal skills; experienced in IT work, internal audit or case investigation; IT project management.
• Knowledgeable in BSP requirements, banking laws and AML law; proficient in IT and business processes and lifecycle.
• Must be amenable to working onsite and be assigned to Makati.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily system operations for availability, stability, security, and controlled user access.
• Lead issue investigation and ensure timely resolution with proper documentation.
• Manage system deployments and upgrades per governance and SDLC.
• Capture and translate business and regulatory requirements into system specifications.
• Provide data support for regulatory reporting including AML and risk monitoring.
• Ensure systems comply with regulatory requirements and support audits.
• Coordinate with business, risk, audit, and IT units.
• Develop and enforce IT governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements addressing control gaps.
• Stay updated on regulatory issuances and technology risks.
