Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, Compliance, Risk Management, Information Technology, Accountancy, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, policy making, risk management, audit, legal, or information security.
• Substantial privacy related engagement with NPC as part of a private or government organization.
• Knowledge of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, NPC issuances, and related regulations.
• Familiarity with Privacy Impact Assessments, incident management, privacy governance frameworks, and GDPR.
• Certifications such as CDPO, CIPP, CIPM, ISO 27701, or similar certifications.
• Can work effectively with regulators and stakeholders on privacy related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Support the Data Privacy Officer in ensuring compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and NPC regulations.
• Promote data privacy awareness and monitor compliance activities.
• Conduct privacy assessments, manage privacy risks, and support implementation of privacy management programs.

Job description

The Compliance Officer for Privacy supports the Data Protection Officer and the organization in ensuring compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the other applicable Privacy laws, NPC regulations, and company privacy policies.
