The Driver/Installer is responsible for the safe transportation of materials and installation team members to various project sites. This role also involves assisting in the accurate and efficient installation of blinds, curtains, and other window treatment products, including the measurement of windows and site assessment to ensure proper installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport installation materials, tools, and team members to and from project locations.
- Accurately measure windows and assess site conditions to ensure correct product fit and installation.
- Assist in the installation of blinds, curtains, and other window treatments as per company standards.
- Handle materials and equipment with care to avoid damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of company vehicle.
- Coordinate with the technical staff and office team regarding daily schedules and job requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery and completion of assigned installations.
- Report any delays, site issues, or concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Provide professional and courteous service to clients during on-site visits.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- With valid professional driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must know how to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- At least 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Experience in curtain/blind installation is an advantage (training will be provided).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting materials and climbing ladders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take accurate measurements.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to travel to various project locations.
