Job summary

DASCA CABLE SERVICES INC. is seeking a qualified driver to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently. The role covers roving assignments in Cavite and nearby areas, transporting employees, materials, and equipment while adhering to schedules and safety standards.

The driver will perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain records, and assist with loading/unloading as needed. Weekend and holiday hours may be required based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate is required.
• Valid Professional Driver’s License for the vehicle type.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in company operations.
• Able to drive trucks, vans, and other company vehicles.
• Familiar with Cavite, Metro Manila routes and nearby areas.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance.
• Physically fit to assist with loading/unloading when needed.
• Responsible, punctual, trustworthy, safety-conscious.
• Willing to travel and perform roving assignments within Cavite and beyond.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, or extended hours when needed.
• No serious driving or traffic violations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned company vehicles, trucks, vans, and other vehicles.
• Perform roving and field assignments within Cavite and nearby locations.
• Transport employees, materials, tools, equipment, documents, and other company items.
• Conduct deliveries, hauling, pull-outs, transfers, and other transportation-related activities.
• Follow assigned schedules, routes, and destinations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and trip records.
• Ensure vehicle documents and permits are maintained.
• Observe company policies, traffic laws, and road safety procedures.
• Assist in loading and unloading company materials when required.
• Perform other driving and operational duties as assigned.
