VEHICLE INSPECTION MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS INC (VIMS) is seeking a driver to transport the technical team, equipment, and materials to job sites, including long-distance trips. You will ensure vehicle reliability, perform routine safety checks, and assist with deploying equipment at sites.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean record, and proven driving experience. Opportunities for career growth and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, especially long-distance or commercial driving.
• Certification in Defensive Driving or equivalent training (a plus).
• Experience assisting technical teams or in a similar support role is beneficial.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance and safety checks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport the technical team, equipment, and materials to and from job sites, often over long distances.
• Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and perform routine checks to prevent breakdowns.
• Assist the technical team in setting up equipment and preparing for deployment tasks at job sites.
• Help unload, carry, and organize tools, materials, and parts necessary for deployment operations.
• Assist in basic maintenance tasks if needed, such as checking equipment or preparing the work area for technical services.
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained in good condition by performing routine checks (oil changes, tire pressure, etc.).
• Handle minor vehicle repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, organized, and ready for long-distance travel.
• Keep accurate logs of vehicle mileage, fuel use, and maintenance schedules.
• Communicate effectively with the technical team and other departments regarding schedules and logistical needs.
• Report any vehicle issues or delays immediately to management.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Valid driver's license (with a clean driving record)
