Job summary

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Licensing Requirements: A valid LTO Professional Driver's License with restriction codes 1, 2, 3 (or updated DL codes A, B, C, D). Being qualified to handle light-to-heavy commercial vehicles, 4-wheel close vans, and 6-wheeler trucks is standard for their distribution arm.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience working as a commercial company driver or delivery truck driver. Ok with carrying heavy objects or items.
• Physical Demands: Typically looking for individuals who are physically fit. Because this is tied to a grains milling foundation, drivers are often expected to be able to assist in the loading and unloading of heavy materials (e.g., 25kg to 50kg sacks of rice/corn or equipment).
• Education: At least a High School or Senior High School graduate. Vocational training (such as a TESDA automotive or driving course) is highly regarded.
• Background Clearances: Must have a clean driving history with no recent history of reckless driving, alongside valid government clearances (NBI Clearance, Police Clearance, and Barangay Clearance).

Core Driver Skills

• Route Planning & Navigation: Deep familiarity with major thoroughfares and minor bypass routes across Metro Manila, Caloocan, and nearby provinces. Ability to accurately use mobile navigation apps such as Waze and Google Maps to optimize fuel efficiency and trip times.
• Defensive Driving: Advanced knowledge of traffic rules, road safety laws, and proactive habits to protect the fleet, passenger staff, and expensive inventory.
• Basic Vehicle Troubleshooting: Competency in conducting standard daily vehicle inspections (checking oil, water, brakes, and tire pressure) and performing minor emergency roadside troubleshooting to reduce downtime.
• Warehouse Task Flexibility: Willingness to shift from driving tasks to warehouse operations (sorting, logging deliveries, and logistics organizing) depending on operational needs.
