Job summary

A transportation company in Batangas City is seeking a professional driver to safely transport staff and materials, primarily between Makati and FPIP. The ideal candidate will have a professional driver’s license, English language skills, and experience driving with Japanese officers. Responsibilities include performing routine vehicle checks and ensuring timely transportation. This position offers an opportunity for those accustomed to traveling between designated locations.

Qualifications

• Must have experience driving with Japanese officers.
• Ability to communicate in English is required.
• Years of service as a driver is an advantage.
• Has professional driver’s license with restriction 2.

Responsibilities

• Transport company staff and materials in a timely manner.
• Assisting with loading and offloading shipments.
• Process delivery-related documents as needed.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Follow routes and schedules and adjust for traffic conditions.
• Ensure the company car is parked legally and not towed.
• Inform the company promptly of any traffic violations, accidents, or car trouble.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle (oil, water, tires, etc.).
• Keep the vehicle clean and maintained, including daily washing and cleaning.
• All other tasks related to this position as assigned by the company.

Job description

1. Pick-up and drop-off Oda-san from/in Makati.
2. Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified location in a timely manner.
3. Assisting with the loading and offloading of company shipments or deliveries.
4. Depending on the situation, the driver may be assigned to process delivery- related documents to BIR, PEZA, BOC and other related government agencies.
5. Follow assigned routes and schedules or adjust routes based on road conditions and traffic patterns.
6. Ensuring that the company car is always parked in areas that permit parking to avoid towing.
7. Promptly informing the company of any traffic violation, accident or trouble involving the company car.
8. Performing routine checks and inspections on the company car and reporting any issues or damages. (oil, water, tires, etc.).
9. Keeping the company car clean and properly maintain by performing regular washing, cleaning, and vehicle maintenance. Cleaning was being done every morning after arriving and in the afternoon before leaving company premise.
10. All other tasks related to this position, or those that may be assigned by the company.

• Had experience driving with Japanese Officer.
• Can speak english.

• Willing to travel back and forth from Makati to FPIP, Sto. Tomas and vice versa. Pick-up and drop-off point will be in Makati.
• There may be other locations that will be assigned from time to time.
