Southwestern University PHINMA's Student Life - Community Development is looking for a passionate Education Officer to spearhead our early childhood wellness initiatives within the Balay Bantayanan program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Care and Development, or related field
- Familiarity with Early Childhood Care and Development standards, frameworks, and indicators
- Deep understanding of 0–5 years old physical, cognitive, and socioemotional development
- Experienced in handling and interacting with young children, parents, and families
- Experienced in program facilitation, community development, or relevant area
Key Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, and supervise developmentally appropriate activities, play-based learning, and early stimulation programs.
- Translate Early Childhood Care and Development standards into effective community-based programs and activities.
- Document, monitor, and help improve the Balay Bantayanan initiative and outputs.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant data, and feedback for impact assessment and reporting.
- Monitor program effectiveness and prepare regular reports.
- Network with external partners (NGOs, LGUs, private sectors, health professionals) to enhance program resources and relevance.
- Create engaging educational materials for the program.
