Job summary

Joy~Nostalg Group in the Philippines seeks a Commission Accounting Assistant to manage seller accreditation, validate commissions and incentives, and ensure accurate disbursements. You will coordinate with sales agents and financial institutions to maintain ledgers and governance of commission processes.

The role covers data management, auditing supporting documents, and monthly reconciliations to ensure zero variance in commission expenses. Onsite work is required in Ortigas, Pasig.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years experience handling accounts payable and commissions, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Advanced MS Excel Training for Finance Professionals.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in accounts receivable and commission data.

Responsibilities

• Validate accreditation documents and maintain data bank for accredited sellers.
• Monitor seller performance and update standing reports based on approved Memorandums for Approval (MFA).
• Coordinate with sellers and the Finance Management Group to facilitate account openings for commission releases.
• Validate and process commission claims (Official Sales, Down Payment Stage, Full DP) in accordance with approved policies and structures.
• Verify incentive requests against actual sales performance and approved mechanics before processing.
• Journalize transactions related to commission/incentive reversals due to closed bank accounts or account cancellations.
• Audit supporting documents for advances, reimbursements, and replenishments related to sales and marketing programs.
• Maintain Schedules or Subsidiary Ledgers of Weekly Processed & For Processing Commissions, Monthly Reports on Full/Total Commission, and related items.
• Process non-sales disbursements and reconcile commission expense accounts against the general ledger monthly.
• Respond to seller inquiries regarding commission computations and release schedules in a timely and professional manner.
