Job Description
- Sales Leadership & Strategy: Drive the overall sales strategy aligned with the company's growth goals in embedded finance. Lead solution teams focused on fintech, enterprise, and financial institution segments.
- Process & Enablement: Optimize sales processes and implement best practices to boost efficiency and client experience. Develop sales playbooks, value propositions, and enablement tools tailored to each segment.
- Client Onboarding & Success: Oversee onboarding for key clients and maintain senior-level relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth.
- Product & Innovation Alignment: Identify market trends and collaborate with the Product team to enhance offerings based on client needs and segment opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and external partners to deliver cohesive solutions and expand market reach.
- Reporting & Governance: Provide performance insights and strategic updates to the executive team. Ensure all commercial activities meet regulatory standards and manage sales-related risks proactively.
The Successful Applicant
Experience & Leadership
- 10+ years in sales or business development within financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record in leading sales strategy, managing high-performing teams, and onboarding major clients
Industry & Market Knowledge
- Strong understanding of embedded finance, fintech, and financial services market trends
- Experience in product development, go-to-market strategy, and segment-focused selling
Skills & Capabilities
- Strategic thinker with strong decision-making, analytical, and forecasting skills
- Skilled in sales process optimization, CRM tools, and performance tracking
- Excellent communicator and negotiator with the ability to build lasting stakeholder relationships
- Adept at managing risk, ensuring compliance, and adapting to fast-changing environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
