Job summary

EastWest Banking Corporation is seeking a Credit Analyst and Review Officer (CARE) to assess creditworthiness and perform financial and risk analyses, supporting lending decisions by preparing Credit Offering Memos (COMs).

You will collaborate with marketing teams to evaluate transactions, recommend credit structures, and ensure accurate and timely credit approvals, with on-site work in Metro Manila or Luzon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Banking.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Account Officer or Credit Officer in commercial or corporate lending within a similar-sized or larger bank.
• Strong knowledge of credit evaluation, banking products, financial analysis, risk management, and industry research.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen business acumen.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with solid stakeholder management skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial and credit analysis of prospective and existing clients.
• Prepare and present Credit Offering Memos (COMs) to support sound credit decisions.
• Evaluate risks and recommend appropriate credit structures and terms.
• Monitor borrower performance and identify early warning indicators.
• Recommend actions on restructuring, renewals, or collections when necessary.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure accurate and timely credit processing.

Our Corporate Banking team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Metro Manila or Luzon with the role of Credit Analyst and Review Officer (CARE).
