Energy Development Corporation is seeking a Commercial Analyst to drive growth in its energy business units. The role emphasizes strong analytical and project management capabilities to support planning, financial modeling, and reporting for senior leadership.
The position involves market studies, due diligence, budgeting for wind farm assets, and competitive pricing analysis. Hybrid work is in place with required onsite presence two days per week.
As a Commercial Analyst, your work will revolve around driving the growth of the company's energy business units. Strong analytical and project management capabilities are at the core of the role.
Conduct market studies and industry monitoring activities as support for planning and developing new business opportunities
Develop and maintain financial models and financial modeling processes for evaluating potential business development opportunities, internal financial analysis, and cost management strategies
Create and consolidate management reports, corporate financial presentations, and financial analysis presented to senior leadership
Assist in conducting due diligence and evaluation for priority projects, including reviewing laws, rules, regulations, information, agreements, contracts, market and competition data
Assist in the preparation of presentations to management and external stakeholders for decision making and project approval
Support and co-manage projects handled by the Group
Asset management with exposure to wind farm operations on the commercial side, including budgeting
Competitor analysis, material pricing and costing research
Analysis of power supply agreements
Graduate of any business-related or Engineering course
With minimum one (1) year experience in a business or finance-related role
With good communication and presentation skills
