Job summary
A financial cooperative in Davao Occidental is looking for an individual to monitor loan aging, perform area collections, and prepare reports. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a business-related field and a professional driver's license. Experience is a plus, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include maintaining a high level of collections and providing excellent service to members.

Responsibilities
- Monitors loan aging on the coop’s system to identify members that will falls due and with account dues; prepares daily itinerary based on the information; submits the same to the Branch Manager/Loan Officer for approval.
- Performs area visits to collect savings, share capital and loan payments; submits daily itinerary with signature of visited members to Branch Manager/Loan Officer for daily accomplishment.
- Must maintain the high level of collection at least 80% of the target on area/s assigned.
- Posts and remits every afternoon all collections with collection summary, and Official Receipts (OR) to the Teller/Cashier to record collected savings, share capital and loan payments; leaves the Official Receipt (OR) to the Teller/Cashier to retrieves the same during the next working day. Collections after cut-off must be turnover to the teller for safekeeping and must be posted first hour of the following day.
- Prepares and sends notices regarding amount dues, maturity dates, amortization, due dates, and representative assembly schedules to the members for information.
- Plans and requests for mass follow-up to ensure collection recovery.
- Prepares and submits aging and collection reports to Immediate Supervisor on or before 2nd working day of the month.
- Answers inquiries regarding coop services and procedures to members and potential members to cater their need for additional information.
- Monitors and checks the condition of the coop’s issued motorcycle for maintenance; submits maintenance requests to the Branch Manager/Loan Officer for approval.
- Withdraws the amount deposited to members’ ATM / passbook account held as guarantee of payment for loan payments and deposit the excess to their savings account if any.
- Alternate of the teller in depositing to the bank the excess cash from the insured amount in vault of the total daily cash on hand of the branch.
- Attends regular meetings and other coop activities.
- Attends required training and seminars as mandated.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor’s degree preferably in any business-related course.
- Experience in any related field is an advantage. (Fresh graduates are welcome)
- Should have a professional driver’s license with code 1,2.
- Should be hardworking and able to perform with minimal supervision.
- Must possess oral and written communication skills.
