Job summary

Kredivo Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Collections Manager to lead and build our end-to-end collections operation. This role will work closely with the AVP – Collections to establish a scalable, compliant, and high-performing collections operation.

You will be responsible for setting up the collections ecosystem, including team structure, processes, strategy, and performance management to ensure business targets are consistently achieved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of managerial collections experience in lending or banking.
• Experience leading large teams across desk, field, and agencies.
• Strong knowledge of collections regulations and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall collections operations and recovery performance across all segments.
• Build, structure, and scale the collections department, including recruitment and onboarding of teams.
• Develop and implement SOPs in line with regulations and standards.
• Design and execute collections strategies to optimize recovery and minimize delinquency.
• Manage collections budget, cost control, capacity planning, and forecasting.
• Monitor operational performance and ensure KPIs and targets are achieved.
• Collaborate with Risk, Product, Operations, Legal, Finance to drive improvements.
• Manage external partners and agencies for performance and compliance.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly performance reports and insights.
• Continuously review market trends and best practices.
• Ensure fair, ethical, compliant collections practices at all times.

• Build, structure, and scale the collections department, including recruitment, onboarding, and operational readiness of desk, field, and agency teams
• Develop and implement Collections SOPs in line with local regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices
• Design and execute effective collections strategies to optimize recovery and minimize delinquency
• Manage collections budget, cost control, capacity planning, and forecasting
• Monitor operational performance and ensure monthly KPIs and collection targets are achieved
• Work closely with internal stakeholders (Risk, Product, Operations, Legal, Finance, etc.) to drive process improvements
• Manage external partners and agencies to ensure performance and compliance standards are met
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly performance reports and business insights to management
• Continuously review market trends and incorporate industry best practices into operations
• Ensure fair, ethical, and compliant collections practices at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in collections at a managerial level within lending, multi-finance, or banking industries.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale collections teams (Desk, Field, and Agencies).
• Strong knowledge of collections regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in building teams and setting up collections operations from scratch is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or related fields.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
