Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience with Cognos development.
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI is a plus.
• Basic Cognos Administration skills preferred.
• Experience with PowerPlay Transformer cubes and TM1 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy dashboard solutions and multi-dimensional reports using IBM's Cognos
• Work with team members to evaluate the needs of the company that relate to Cognos development
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Develop and test plans to ensure a projects successful delivery
• Participate in project planning
• Track activities to ensure all tasks are executed on time
• Build reporting solutions while adhering to data warehousing best practices
• Address any production defects and handle any technical issues
• Administer Cognos securities and in charge of user group maintenance

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience with Cognos development.
• Better to have any other BI experience (Power BI), data modeling, SQL.
• Preferable to have basic Cognos Administration skills.
• Preferable to have experience on PowerPlay Transformer cubes.
• Preferable to have experience on TM1.
• Should have good analytical skills and understanding skills
• Should be a good team player.
• Understand the enterprise applications architecture design and development best practices for analytical applications.
