Job summary

V2 Solutions is seeking a QA Engineer to validate geoscience/EP workflows on cloud-enabled platforms. You will design and execute functional and integration tests, validate workflows, and contribute to test automation.

The role involves working with AWS/Azure, collaborating with Dev, DevOps, and Product teams, and documenting test cases while performing defect analysis. A background in geoscience domains and OpenWorks is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of testing experience in geoscience or EP domains with OpenWorks experience.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, and cloud deployments (Azure/AWS).
• Proficient in test documentation and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to collaborate with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional and integration test scenarios.
• Validate geoscience or EP workflows within applications.
• Work with cloud-based environments (AWS / Azure).
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, DevOps, Product).
• Document test cases and perform defect tracking with root-cause analysis.
• Communicate and escalate issues clearly and promptly.
• Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to the role.
