Job summary

Signant Health is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join the team. You will automate deployments, manage cloud infrastructure, and work with development and DevOps teams to ensure high availability across environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Python, Terraform, PowerShell, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. You will participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and help migrate on-prem workloads to the cloud.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
3+ years in a modern software development environment with Agile and DevOps.
Hands-on with Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, Git, Bitbucket and TFS.
Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms; Python, Terraform, and PowerShell.
Experience in Kubernetes, Ansible, CI/CD, and web/server technologies.
Proven ability to work in a team and support multiple environments.

Responsibilities

Automate deployment and configuration of servers and applications across environments.
Troubleshoot root causes and improve resolution time.
Monitor and ensure high availability of cloud components.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and on-call shift work.
Migrate on-prem workloads to the cloud (AWS / Azure).
Optimize infrastructure costs and right-size services.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve processes.
