Job summary

FIS is seeking a Cloud Engineer Lead to design, implement, and support secure cloud networking across Azure and AWS in a hybrid setup. You will work with security, infra, and operations teams to ensure resilient cloud services and automation-first delivery.

You bring hands-on cloud networking experience, firewall expertise, and Terraform/IaC proficiency, with a collaborative, leadership mindset to mentor peers.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting cloud networking in Azure and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewall technologies, and network security.
• Hands-on firewall and security tooling experience with enterprise-grade platforms.
• Experience using Terraform or other IaC tools to automate cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of cloud network architectures in Azure and AWS.
• Build and support secure cloud connectivity solutions, including routing and firewall integrations.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure reliable cloud services.
• Develop infrastructure as code and automation best practices.
• Mentor engineers and provide guidance on cloud networking strategy and governance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
• Drive automation and monitoring to improve operational efficiency.
• Create reusable cloud networking standards and deployment patterns.
