Job summary

Siegen HR Solutions is seeking a Cloud Architect/Administrator to drive the transformation to cloud, design scalable public cloud presence, and lead projects through their full lifecycle. The role involves coordinating with multiple internal teams and managed service partners to deliver secure, high-availability IT services.

You will champion deployment strategies, engineering best practices, and agile processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery across a multinational group.

Qualifications

• Drive the company’s transformation to cloud.
• Design, build and deliver scalable public cloud presence.
• Plan, lead and drive projects through entire lifecycle.
• Create deployment strategies for existing and new services based on business objectives.
• Advanced knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
• Solid foundation in software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Scrum and agile development processes.
• Solid understanding of highly available, performant and secure service delivery.
• Interface with several internal partners simultaneously.
• Operating multisite, group-wide proactive support service.
• Design future support models with MSPs/third parties.
• Drive operational efficiencies and service improvement initiatives.
• Credibly communicating challenges, plans and progress.
• Team engagement and development.
• Defining/continual development of team plans and coordinating with workspace/infrastructure manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud infrastructure initiatives and drive group standards.
• Converge services and enable scalable cloud presence.
• Oversee BAU, unplanned work, customer projects and service improvements.
• Interface with internal partners to ensure aligned delivery.
• Guide multi-site support and collaboration with managed service partners.
