Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is seeking a FinOps professional to manage cost and usage data across cloud providers. You will automate data pipelines, build reports, and mature the FinOps processes in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage SQL, Python, BigQuery, and Power BI to drive cost optimization and governance across multi-cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, analytics or related field.
• MBA or engineering degree is a plus.
• FinOps certification or ability to attain within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on cost and usage data across cloud providers.
• Develop data pipelines, reports, and metrics via automated solutions.
• Automate, integrate, and mature FinOps processes and data.

Role Summary

• Be a subject matter expert on cost and usage data across cloud providers.
• Participate in automating, integrating, cleaning, and maturing the Multi-Cloud FinOps team’s processes and data.
• Ability to evaluate and tackle complex problems and understand the implications of different business approaches.
• Develop data pipelines, reports, and Metrics via automated solutions to centralize import information for consumption within FinOps teams.
• Enable a cost conscience culture via data and insights.
• Contribute and drive the Multi-cloud FinOps Roadmap.
• Participate in product evaluations and some architectural design review sessions to ensure the platform goals are adhered to.

Job Qualifications:

• Overall 4-8 years of experience IT
• 3-4 Years of developing data & analytics products via the cloud
• Technical Stack: SQL, Python, Google Big Query , Power BI / Excel
• Good Understanding of Cloud Costing and Billing
• Knowledge in cloud provisioning with infrastructure as code
• Previous experience working in a mature agile environment.
• Ability to operate at multiple altitudes, prioritize workload across multiple projects and tasks.
• Exceptional social skills, able to establish strong rapport and partnerships at all levels of the organization.
• Remarkable analytical skills and the ability to distil sophisticated information.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed, fast-paced environment.

Must Have Skills:

• Possess a current FinOps certification, or ability to attain within 6 months.
• Cloud admin with certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP or ability to attain within 12 months.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or analytics; MBA/engineering degree.
