Job summary

Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our hybrid multi-cloud team. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with emphasis on automation through IaC tools and modern containerization practices.

You will contribute to scalable solutions, optimize runtimes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive DevOps maturity and secure architecture. Relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with a focus on hybrid multi-cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies (e.g., virtualization, networking, storage).
• Proficiency in using infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) for automation.
• Experience with containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestrating containerized applications.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and find innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect).
