Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking a Junior-Mid Cloud/DevOps Engineer with cyber/cloud engineering experience to support maintenance tasks across our CloudEng platform. The role focuses on container hygiene, RDS upgrades, and serverless improvements.

You will help migrate repos to GitHub Actions, adopt CDK, and strengthen observability and security practices, while handling BAU requests.

This role offers growth within a dynamic APAC AI tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cloud/DevOps engineering with a focus on serverless and containerised environments.
• Junior to mid-level professional with cyber/cloud engineering background.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (CDK).

Responsibilities

• Assist with container & image hygiene and patch management across CI pipelines.
• Upgrade AWS RDS instances to latest major versions and consolidate schemas.
• Manage serverless components including Lambda upgrades across CloudEng repos.
• Migrate repos to GitHub Actions and adopt CDK; improve GitHub security (CODEOWNERS).
• Develop observability alerts and governance/cost optimisation tasks.
• Coordinate security follow-ups with repo owners.
• Handle BAU intake via CloudEng public channel, tackling simpler tasks.
