Job summary

Macquarie Group in the Philippines is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to maintain platforms that protect our digital banking environment from threats. You will work with engineers, developers and stakeholders to design, provision, deploy, monitor and continuously improve these platforms.

The role demands proficiency in cloud environments and Linux, WAF familiarity, knowledge of threat management, logs and monitoring, scripting (Python/shell), and CI/CD tools; AI tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with cloud environments and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Basic knowledge of threat management and OWASP guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with logs, searches, rules, dashboards in monitoring tools.
• Troubleshooting incidents with strong monitoring focus.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python or shell).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools; AI tools preferred.
