Job summary

Hrtx in the Philippines is seeking a software engineer to help build cloud-native AI applications for automating financial document processing. You will work with LLMs, ML models, and AWS cloud technologies to enhance document workflows and data extraction capabilities.

You'll collaborate in an Agile team, design prompts, develop AI libraries, and ensure data quality within end-to-end pipelines while staying current with new AI tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in Python and AWS.
• Experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Hands-on with AWS AI tools (Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend).
• Knowledge of LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB).
• Proficient in PyTorch/TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.
• Familiar with Docker, CI/CD and Git.
• Database experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL or DynamoDB).
• Understanding of MLOps and monitoring tools.
• Experience in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Develop and integrate LLMs and ML models for document automation.
• Design and refine prompts for accurate data extraction.
• Build and maintain document processing pipelines using AI and NLP tools.
• Implement agentic systems for autonomous processing.
• Integrate AI features into existing applications and workflows.
• Ensure data quality and validation within pipelines.
• Stay up to date on new AI technologies and best practices.
• Develop reusable AI libraries and frameworks for future use.
