Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum unit is seeking a Licensed Clinical Content Specialist (CCS) to develop and update clinical content for Change Healthcare Clinical Products. You will review medical literature, synthesize information, and work with external peer reviewers to ensure accuracy and usability for diverse users and contexts.

You will also perform QA, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with Product Development, Product Management, and other teams to guide clinically related solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
• Licensed Physician
• Board-certified or diplomate in Internal Medicine or subspecialties
• Clinical & Business Experience
• 5+ years of hands-on clinical experience in an independent practice setting or equivalent
• 5+ years of independent clinical practice and inpatient hospital settings

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update clinical content via appraisal of medical literature
• Perform QA of clinical content and maintain documentation
• Serve as clinical resource for internal and external customers
• Collaborate with PD, PM, PO, and BSA teams
• Develop project plans and monitor tasks to ensure on-time delivery
• Participate in field research for product advancement
• Provide guidance and liaison for clinically related solutions across the enterprise
